I’m a lawyer and writer in San Francisco. As of March 2014, I’m serving as editor of California Planning and Development Report, a subscription newsletter on land use and planning issues.
I practice estate planning and probate law part-time with the firm of Laurie Shigekuni & Associates.
I have a long history of legal advocacy work for homeless and precariously housed San Franciscans. I still do some pro bono poverty law work but it’s mostly responding to friends’ problems and friends’ clients’ problems: I’m not actively looking to take on volunteer cases.
This weblog, my Twitter account at @mbridegam, and my former “Lodging in Public” and Tumblr weblogs are strictly my own, distinct from both CP&DR and my legal work. They are not intended to offer my services as a lawyer to any client, and are not intended as legal advice.
You can contact me by email at bridegam[at]gmail[dot]com or comment below. Please do not call the law office about my writing work.
